Sailor Studio had the opportunity to collaborate with Chevrolet and the WMcCann agency in the production of a Fake Out-of-home (FOOH), integrating Computer Graphics and Live Action Capture. The video offers a first-person view of someone strolling down the bustling Avenida Paulista in São Paulo, walking near a physical OOH with Chevrolet's Black Friday campaign. The surprise occurs when a Chevrolet Tracker vertically ascends the side of a building

The central challenge was to create a visually stunning and integrated piece, generating doubt about its authenticity despite the physical impossibility of a car climbing vertically up a building.

To tackle this challenge, we took careful measures during the capture, ensuring a stable image to facilitate the tracking process in post-production. The Look Dev of the car received special attention, ensuring that its visual representation was convincing. In post-production, we adapted the Black Friday campaign ad on the real street clock, and we obtained the necessary architectural authorization to integrate the FOOH into the real scene.

The impact was exceptional, with the audience on social media expressing shock at the convincing illusion of the car integrated into the scene. The video reached an even larger audience when it was featured on the TV show "Caldeirão do Mion," in the famous React segment, where host Marcos Mion reacted to and praised the boldness and creativity of Chevrolet's Black Friday campaign.
